Shrine Mountain Inn

The Shrine Mountain Inn is a set of three rustic cabins. All wedding events will take place at the Walter Cabin (there will be signs).

You can let us know which nights you’d like to stay when you RSVP. Cabin rooms vary in size and number of beds, and we’ll place you in a room alone or with buddies! We’ll send cabin assignments about a week before the wedding.

The cabins have power, running water, showers, and full kitchens. Please bring food for your own meals outside of the ones in the agenda.

Beds are not equipped with bedding, so please bring a sleeping bag or your own sheets/blankets.

There will be parking available at the cabins, and we’ll send more detailed arrival and parking information closer to the wedding.

Things to Do

Hike to Shrine Pass

A beautiful hike that you can access the from the huts (this will remove some of the distance and elevation gain). There are a ton of other trails in the area that you can find on All Trails as well (including the Bowman shortcut trail )

Hang at the Cabin/Sauna

The three cabins are all pretty sweet hangs with big decks and (probably) nice weather. There’s also a sauna between the Jay and Chuck cabins.

Gravel/Mountain Biking

There are 40 miles of gravel biking on Shrine Pass Road, and great mountain biking on the Two Elk Trail.

What Else?

Other Places to Stay

If you don’t want to stay at the cabins, Copper is the closest town (15min away). It’s a ski town so there are tons of condos and hotels.

Kids

Sorry, just for immediate family! We’re restricted on how many people we can have at the cabins and wanted to maximize how many of our friends and family we could invite. If that’s going to be an issue for you, let us know!!

Dress code

Casual - like you’re going out to a nice-ish dinner. A suit or gown would be over dressed. It’s on dirt/gravel and will be chilly at night so plan for that!

Gifts

Your presence is enough and we are not expecting gifts! If you’d like to give a gift anyway, we’d love a contribution to our honeymoon fund here:
